Sundaland is made up of the islands lying on the Sunda shelf (Sumatra, Borneo, Java, Palawan, Gulf of Thailand and smaller nearby islands) and the Malay Peninsula. It is bordered on the East of Borneo and Bali. Palawan Island is considered to be part of the Sundaland.
